The Edge Server Spam Firewall is designed to filter incoming content that could harm the customers network.

It defends the network against spam, viruses* and malware, and offers secure and reliable connection (by using TLS encryption) for the transfer of confidential contents.

The Edge Server is based on a linux operation system which is hardened by Clearswift. After an initial setup it runs automatically and needs no further administration work.

The new Edge Server is available free of charge for customers with a valid support contract! By this existing software costumers can benefit of the innovative and awarded anti spam technologie, which already found it's way into the email appliance.

The administration is takes place in an intuitive web interface just like the one of the appliance. The emails are kept in a seperate area on the edge server and can be managed via PMM. Additionally it is possible to connect to the policyeditor by a plugin (SP3 or better), the policyeditor enables further handling of tagged mails.
